My son has been going to shooting stars now for two years, and it’s been so great to see how much he’s learned and developed. He can write all his letters and numbers, knows the days of the week and month, and creates so many cute crafts. The school hosts several cute parent events per year, such as a Mother’s Day breakfast and holiday concert: The team, lead by Miss Roopa, is great!

Our four year old son began attending Shooting Stars Preschool when we started the process of moving from Oakland to Dublin this past July. While our son had had not hated his previous school, he definitely was indifferent on the idea of school. From day one our son has fallen in love with school and Shooting Stars. His growth has been something truly amazing to watch.
Ms. Roopa and Ms. Selina do a wonderful job creating strong bonds and relationships with all of the children in attendance. Under their tutelage, our son has flourished in his ability to write, sound out complex words, count, use numbers, cut with scissors, and more. He gets genuinely excited to go to Shooting Stars to see his teachers, friends, and to learn. Our son loves to come home and show off all his school work that he has completed during the day.
Since our son began attending Shooting Stars during the COVID pandemic, we have been very pleased with the care the the school is taking to ensure the safety of the kids and their families.
I must say that I have never written a Yelp! review before, but our family has been so impressed with Shooting Stars that I felt a need to share how wonderful this school has been for us all. When our second child is of age, we will surely be sending her to Shooting Stars as well.

Update to my review - our son graduated from Shooting Stars and is now flourishing in 1st grade! All credit is due to Shooting Stars! Our twins went to Shooting Stars for 2 years till they started their DKA.
I have nothing but only great things to say about the school, the teachers and their curriculum.
The way in which they groom the kids and work on their overall development is outstanding. The school teaches values to kids. They don't change the kid's individuality and make sure they remain a kid. They hone their talents and help them deal with any complexes and fear that kid would face in their future.
Both our twins are so different ( 180 degrees apart) from one another. Right from their habits, interests, public relations, focus, attention to details etc. One thing that they both loved is to go to Shooting stars every single day. We were able to see overall growth and development in both of them in a perfect way.
Like any other school, Shooting starts too have their own share of arts, sports, academics etc. But one thing that this school stand out is the methodologies and care that make the kids like and engage various activities.
The real value of shooting star is all the more visible only when our kids start their kindergarten and kind of positive feedback that we get from their current surrounding.

I have so many great things to say about Shooting Stars!! We were having difficulty finding a school that matched our son's unique needs - he's driven to be independent, yet he yearns for attention and recognition, especially from adults. Many schools focus on academics first and then work on meeting a child's personal and emotional needs. Shooting Stars is unique in that they listened to our concerns and modified their approach with him, while maintaining their core values. The teachers met our child where he was at and worked (and continue to work) to get him where he needs to be. Although academics was not an initial priority for my family, as we were focused on teaching social skills and coping strategies - our son has already learned so much! The teachers are warm and caring and I've never felt more comfortable leaving my child somewhere. The class size is a wonderful ratio! Almost every Friday they do a share day where the children are given a letter and they pick something to bring from home that starts with that letter. My son loves this activity and it's so fun for us to listen to all the things he thinks of on his own. When issues do arise the teachers actually take the time to talk to the children about it and give the children an opportunity to express themselves. The other schools we've been to simply tell children "no" or what not to do and don't give children the platform to express themselves. This has been vital in the improvement of our son's behavior. We've noticed his tantrums at home dramatically decrease in frequency and duration! Thank you Shooting Stars!

My daughter has been going to Shooting stars for 1.5 years now and she absolutely loves it. Ms. Selena along with other teachers are wonderful. of learning Ms. Rupa is amazing with the whole program and structure of learning.
My daughter comes back home with new learnings almost everyday.
Very friendly, affordable and caring preschool.

"Shooting Stars has been a wonderful place for my daughter. The teachers are kind, friendly and provide fun and stimulating activities for the children. My daughter is always consumed in a project or playing with friends when I come to pick her up. I love that I have no worries when I drop her off knowing everything is taken care off (food, learning activities, social stimulation, etc). Also, the school has been incredibly accommodating to my work schedule (I work afternoons and had trouble finding afternoon only care for my daughter). I highly recommend Shooting Stars Preschool!"
