A School Owned By Parents, Just Like You!
We, the owners of Shooting Stars Preschool, are parents of twin children ourselves, and our kids served as the primary inspiration behind the establishment of this school. Shooting Stars Preschool's curriculum has been meticulously crafted by experts in Early Childhood Education. Our unwavering focus is on nurturing the comprehensive development of each child under our care. Early in our journey, we recognized that children thrive when they experience a sense of freedom, security, and love.
Years have passed since then, and Shooting Stars has grown and developed almost organically. It was born from our burning desire to extend the same warm and homely atmosphere that our children cherished to the wider community's little ones. Our mission is to provide them with a strong and nurturing foundation before they embark on their educational journey in the pre school.
Our Philosophy
Research has unequivocally demonstrated that children experience their most rapid learning during their initial five years, surpassing any other phase in their lives. However, they require an environment that nurtures trust and confidence to facilitate this learning.
At our institution, we cultivate an open and encouraging environment where children can truly thrive. Here, they need not fear exploring, touching, or playing with objects; instead, they are encouraged to do so. We understand that when children engage in play and pose questions; they are not merely developing their social interactions but also independently delving into the realms of colors and textures, shapes and numbers, cause and effect, and the marvels of the world around them.
Our educational philosophy centers on building a child's confidence, stimulating creativity, and instilling a lifelong passion for learning. All of this unfolds within a structured and child-centered program, creating an environment where children are at the heart of everything we do.

Our Curriculum
Our methods are unique as they do not rely on a single system of thought. We firmly understand that children learn at their paces, each with distinct ways of absorbing knowledge from their surroundings. For this reason, we tailor our curriculum to accommodate the specific learning styles of each child.
Our approach strikes a delicate balance between fostering free exploration and providing teacher-directed activities, addressing all facets of a child's development—emotional, cognitive, physical, linguistic, literacy, and creative. Our classroom is thoughtfully organized into sensory, art, language, and dramatic play areas. During teacher-led group activity, children work on lesson plans tailored to their age-appropriate developmental levels. We ensure that group activity tables are rotated to offer each group various experiences. After completing their daily lesson, children can engage in the rest of the class through free-choice activities.
In addition to academic growth, we emphasize nurturing our young students' social-emotional skills, including sharing, perseverance, self-control, conflict resolution, and attention. Beyond that, our preschool plays a pivotal role in laying the foundation for pre-reading and pre-math skills, providing a solid basis for their future learning in pre school. Our ultimate goal is to see our children evolve into the innovators and leaders of tomorrow.
Through the integration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) into everyday learning, our children gain the confidence and experience needed for creative problem-solving and non-traditional thinking when confronted with challenges. Our typical preschool projects engage students in essential innovation and engineering strategies while introducing them to processes like questioning and intuitive creativity. This approach fosters a new educational culture where children are encouraged to take risks and explore their ideas even from their earliest stages.
